St. Dunstan's Group Home is a six bedroom home located outside of Biltmore Village in Asheville, North Carolina. This group home was Buncombe County's first group home designed to provide services for persons with intellectual disabilities. St. Dunstan's is licensed by North Carolina Health Service Regulation and it has at least one staff person providing support 24 hours per day. Individuals living in the home receive support including, but not limited to: medical appointments, medication administration, and transportation. Individuals living in this home have an individualized program plan with specific goals, designed to support individuals to achieve greater independence.
chiles avenue
Chiles Avenue is a six bedroom home located in the Kenilworth neighborhood of Asheville, North Carolina. Chiles Avenue is licensed as an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) and provides support to persons who are 18 years or older, who meet the federal Medicaid requirements for the service. The primary focus of the ICF model is to utilize an Interdisciplinary Team to complete a Comprehensive Functional Assessment which identifies individual needs, thus supporting the development of each individual's personal goals.
